icon How to prepare for exams?
Tip 1: Read your subject Syllabus carefully and see how much percent you have already covered and have notes for them? Let’s say, you have already covered 70% of syllabus and 30% is remaining. Try to get notes for this 30% remaining syllabus, best way is to request your friends, if they already have notes for remaining 30% and get them photo copied as this is going to save your time and you can focus on reading and grasping these notes.

Tip 2: Have sample papers and previous year question paper handy. This gives you good idea of questions examiner can ask in exams and pattern of questions. You can check how marks are divided between different types of questions. Most of the time examiner repeats few questions from sample or previous year question papers or ask on same topic. This also gives you idea of important topics that examiner can ask in question paper.

Tip 3: When you are ready, close your study room, have your pen and pencil ready and lock yourself for given time of exam. Try to solve sample and previous year question papers within given time, treat them as real exam. This practice run helps you to find your weak points and gives you chance to improve them in advance.

Tip 4: If you think you don’t have enough time cover entire syllabus, calculate how much percent you can cover in next 2 months. My suggestion is to focus on important areas of your syllabus (you can choose important areas based on sample and previous year question paper patterns).

Tip 5: Create a schedule for next 2 months of your study plan and put it on your wall. Follow it and try to cover all subjects as much as you can. At any point if you feel you are unable to follow your schedule or you are ahead of schedule, review it and adjust it as soon as possible.
